Born in Barnaul, in the Altai region of southern Siberia, Darja moved to Germany at the age of twelve - speaking no German, but fueled by a powerful dream.
Her journey from a small town to the global stage, where she now represents Germany at major international competitions, is a testament to her extraordinary resilience and remarkable talent.
Darja has become a true star of rhythmic gymnastics, earning numerous medals, including historic golds at both the World Championships and the Olympic Games.
Her unwavering determination helps her overcome any challenge. She trains six days a week, putting in over 35 hours of work.
